Mr. Thomas Spencer Brown, Sr. of Atlanta passed October 19, 2023. Graveside Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens 5755 Mallory Road College Park with Military Honors.

Thomas Spencer Brown, Sr. was born on August 29, 1952 to Jon and Evelyn Brown and big brother, Wayne Brown Sr.

Spencer was a proud 1970 graduate of Southwest High School, where he played baseball and the trumpet. After graduation, he returned to announce high school football games. He also was a member of Flipper Temple AME, where he could be found helping in the kitchen doing various activities.

Spencer served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. At one point, he was stationed at KI Sawyer Air Force Base in Marquette, Michigan. He had a love for photography, all Atlanta sports teams especially the Atlanta Falcons and his family.

Thomas Spencer Brown Sr departed this life in October 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jon Thomas and Evelyn Hood Brown; his brother: Wayne Tyrone Brown Sr.; and two of his sons: Jeremy Brown and Spencer Perkins. He will be remembered by his children: Tomeka Porter, Tory (Angelia) Gresham, Thomas Brown Jr, and Tyrone Brown; six grandchildren; niece: Martina (Antoine) Crawford; nephew: Wayne (Tamesha) Brown Jr.; two great nieces; one great nephew; his fiancée: Jacquelyn Smith; childhood friends: Jannard Wade, Charles Prince, Christine Abrams, and Anthony and Christopher Terry; and a host of cousins.
